Local Directory Arbitrage — city coverage
The second research track: build the local directory your target customer is already
searching for, rank it, sell featured listings — and use every listed business as a warm
lead for the AI Concierge offer. Full playbook, pipeline code, and data live in
novajaialai/local-directory-arbitrage (mirrored on the Linux box at ~/AI-business/directories).
The pipeline is five Python scripts driven by one config file: Google Places scrape → Claude Haiku enrichment (services, pricing, booking URLs, differentiators from each business’s own site) → one-shot SEO directory page → Cloudflare Pages deploy → three-tier monetization outreach. ~$4–6 per city, one-time.

Each city has raw_places.json + enriched.json in the repo’s data/ dir and a
refresh_<city>.sh wrapper to re-run the whole pipeline.
How this feeds the business plan
- Directory revenue: featured slots (~$299/mo) on each ranked directory.
- Warm pipeline: every “want the featured slot?” conversation is an audit-call opener

02-outreach-scripts/), which is the front door to the AI Concierge retainer. - Proof-of-work asset: the directories themselves demonstrate the SEO/GEO capability the audits sell.
